Lois W. Walker

SOUTHWICK, MASS.

Lois W. Walker, 90, passed away peacefully Nov. 2, 2018. Born Nov. 19, 1927, in West Franklin, she was a daughter to the late Virgil and Laura (Williams) Wilbur.

She was employed at W.T. Grant and later with Preferred Electronics, both in Westfield. She also traveled back home to Maine during several summers to work at Merrill’s Blueberries.

Lois enjoyed playing cards and bingo, camping and finding a good tag sale.

She is survived by her children Linda Corbett and husband, Charles, and Brenda Pulaski and her husband, Steven, all of Southwick; son David Walker and his wife, Anita, of Enfield, Conn.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sister Helen Cantor of Maine; and numerous extended family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, David L. Walker Sr.

A funeral service for Lois will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, at Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick with interment following in New Cemetery, Southwick. Calling hours will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the funeral home, and also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
